The Irregular at Magic High School can’t tell the difference between east and west in English

Most aspects of this show remind me of Chrome-shelled Regios, but the map that switches “east” and “west” bothered me a little.

The belligerent sexual tension between the supporting characters is a little clumsy.

As usual, most of the girls’ bodies are quite a bit too good to be true.

The major sexual tension is not the incestuous tension, but rather the “alpha male” vibe of the main character. This is a time-honored crowd-pleaser, and it’s well-executed. I suspect that this show will be like Noragami – a well-executed treatment of crowd-pleasing tropes, with slick production values and few idiosyncrasies.
