Stolen from zhai2nan2: Samurai Flamenco hints at a Japan searching for masculine virtues

Samurai Flamenco is a story of one very idealistic young man and the people around him.

You really should be watching it.

I am particularly interested to see how the various male-female tensions will work out.

Any Manospherians who decide to watch will probably be pointing their fingers at the main female lust interest and shouting “manic personality disorder!” But while her behavior is messed up, I think she’s the product of a warped society rather than someone who is inherently insane.

If a manic attention-grabbing girl becomes a manic violent girl, does that mean she’s “acting out” like a maladjusted teenager? Does she want a man who will exceed her capacity for violence? (Watch the show to find out!)

The illustrations above are two lines from the ending theme – sung by a girl to a boy.

“Do you mind if I fall more deeply in love with you?
You ignore the question like the grass-eating boy that you are.”

Both the male and the female characters in the show are searching for the meaning of masculinity. I think it’s going to turn out to be a very well-written show.
