Initially this show looked strong, but it descended into stupidity rather quickly.
The script writing might have been forgiveable in video game format, but my life is too short to waste on bad anime.
Grisaia no Kajitsu starts off with a whiff of danger, and a protagonist who would be credible in a secret-agent action movie. The hero is high-school aged, but he’s got muscle tone like an Olympic athlete and scars that suggest knife fights. He rips off a bunch of old James Bond stereotypes, like tape on the door, but there’s no harm done.
And at first it looks like a harem show.
I was sufficiently intrigued to watch an entire episode. I don’t know where they’re going to go with this. Titillation is obviously going to be a major factor, but I wonder how much “secret agent action movie” they’re going to throw into the mix.
