Dropped after one episode: Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin

I am not terribly impressed when an anime includes obviously artificial conventions, like a whole city of students, an angry father who exiles his son to a luxurious private apartment, etc. These story elements can be done well – in fact Gin no Saji presents a self-contained agricultural school and an exiled son very well. But the screenshots below show a visually pretty but literarily stupid rendition of stock anime elements.
